BAIRD BROTHERS FEATURED IN OUTDOOR CHANNEL’S RENOVATION HUNTERS: PROJECT HYANNIS
The first-ever project for the Outdoor Channel’s new show, Renovation Hunters, featured Baird Brothers’ shiplap interior siding, red oak and poplar S4S lumber, birch plywood, red oak workbench top and mouldings.
The First Renovation Hunters Project
The Outdoor Channel introduces its groundbreaking series, Renovation Hunters, a first of its kind on the network. To kick off the show with a bang, the team needed a property that would truly challenge them, pushing them to their limits to showcase their skills — and they certainly found it!
Host Hal Shaffer, alongside general contractor Kevin Tarkovich, embarked on a trip to inspect the property before filming commenced. Stepping through the front door, Kevin immediately recognized the daunting scale of the project. With no heat, a non-functional bathroom, and water gushing from the sink, the challenges seemed insurmountable. To add to the mix, a leak from the kitchen had turned the walkway into an unexpected in-house ice rink.
Despite the daunting conditions, Hal confidently reassured Kevin, saying, “You’ve got this. Take the time you need — just make sure it’s done in eight days!” The rest, as they say, is history. Welcome to Project Hyannis!
