BAIRD BROTHERS FEATURED IN OUTDOOR CHANNEL’S RENOVATION HUNTERS: BALDWIN LAKESIDE CABIN
The second project of Season 2 took Renovation Hunters to Baldwin, Michigan, where we transformed the Lewis family’s lakeside cabin. For years, Warren Lewis and his son Jason had visited the cabin for their hunting trips. With a deep-rooted family tradition of connecting with nature, Jason envisioned expanding the cabin to offer young inner-city kids their first outdoor experience.
A Family Retreat with a New Purpose
When Renovation Hunters arrived, the cabin was in disrepair, with overgrown trees and a dilapidated deck. The team cleared the trees, rebuilt the deck, and added modern features like a grill, kayaks, and a custom hunting blind. Inside, the team updated the family room, kitchen, and bathroom, added a master bedroom, and brought in custom furniture. The cabin was completely transformed, providing the Lewis family with a space to connect with nature and share their love of the outdoors with others.
