BAIRD BROTHERS FEATURED IN OUTDOOR CHANNEL’S RENOVATION HUNTERS: SAYRE FAMILY CABIN
Season 3’s first project took Renovation Hunters to the Sayre family’s property along the Black River. The family owned 17 acres of land, including a small cinder block cabin, and 100 additional acres for hunting. The original cabin had seen better days, with outdated amenities and a lack of comfort, making it difficult for the entire family to enjoy their outdoor space.
Renovating for Comfort and Connection
Renovation Hunters revamped the cabin with modern updates, including a four-season room, new flooring, windows, a roof, and shiplap walls to replace the cinder block interior. The team also improved the cabin’s functionality with new communication systems, allowing the family to stay connected. Outside, a stone platform for cooking, a deer processing area, and a new hunting blind were added. These changes not only made the cabin more comfortable but also enhanced the family’s outdoor lifestyle, creating a space where they could truly enjoy their love for nature.
